Les Shifters de Melbourne, qu'on aime tant depuis la sortie en vinyle de leur cassette éponyme en 2018 par Future Folklore records, sont venus en Europe pour la première fois en 2019 nous faire rêver, plaisir partagé par le groupe et quelques poignées d'adeptes de pop lo-fi grinçante et de post punk à la sauce UKDIY.

Initialement sortie en digital sur leur bandcamp courant Octobre 2020 , on a eu envie de nous faire plaisir et faire plaisir aux copains qui les ont super bien accueillis. Aussi il nous paraît évident de faire une sortie physique pour se remémorer ces excellents souvenirs au coin du feu en éditant une poignée de cassettes des diverses sessions live enregistrées en France, sur l'iPhone de Tristan. Beau, chaotique, moite!

We have been in love with the Shifters so much since their eponymous tape was reissued on vinyl by Future Folklore Records - and even before - that we were beyond happy when they visited Europe in 2019. Everyone who saw them enjoyed the band's lo-fi jangling pop and UKDIY sort of post-punk and can't wait for them to come back.

This was initially digitally released by the band in October 2020 and we couldn't help to offer this a physical release to make everyone happy including all the mates who gave the band such a warm welcome. So now here it is : a beautiful testimony of the Shifters' tour recorded on Tristan's iPhone and now available on a handful of tapes to enjoy by the fire - sort of.
